The mysticism of the last mountains at Europe’s extreme southwest.
Monchique is a village at the top of continental Europe extreme southwest. The village is known by its’ natural resources: Syenite rock and medicinal waters. The work represents the two moments that emanate all natural beauty and magic of the place – the sunrise and sunset. Human’s presence is represented by the church’s portico.
